Robilant+Voena is pleased to participate in the 10 year anniversary of St. Moritz Art Masters. To celebrate this occasion Gian Enzo Sperone and Marco Voena have curated a “Best of” show in the Protestant Church, St. Moritz, on view from August 25 until September 3.
From the high-profile roster of artists shown at SAM over the last ten years, Gian Enzo Sperone and Marco Voena chosen nine outstanding works by Julian Schnabel, Tom Sachs, Francesco Clemente, Vik Muniz, Wim Delvoye, Richard Long, Mimmo Rotella, Marino Marini, and Lucio Fontana. Each of them was either previously exhibited in an Art Masters solo show or received the St. Moritz Art Masters Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Cartier, the main sponsor of the event. With large-scale paintings and sculptures, this group show of internationally acclaimed artists serves as the central exhibition of this year’s jubilee edition.
The selection of works reflects the wide range of artistic practices and nationalities that, since the inaugural show, have been a hallmark of St. Moritz Art Masters. From the very beginning the organisational committee and the participating galleries created a high-profile program that put St. Moritz – Top of the World - and the Engadine valley on the map for cultural summer events and year after year continues to attract a diverse, discerning and fun-loving crowd.
