MARINO MARINI

This video, produced on the occasion of Robilant+Voena's exhibition Marino Marini: Horses, Horsemen and Female Nudes in our London gallery, gives an insight into the works of the Italian sculptor Marino Marini that related to two key themes of his oeuvre - equestrian subjects and the female nude. Curated by Barbara Cinelli and Flavio Fergonzi of the Marino Marini Foundation, the exhibition showcases works from over three decades from the 1930s to the 1950s, examining the development of Marini's artistic vision and revealing his innovative and unique refashioning of two age-old themes in art history.
